You don’t know what you don’t know – that’s just the fact when it’s your first time starting anything new, let alone a startup. Avoid costly mistakes and set yourself up for success by learning from our mentors who have been there and done that. In this complimentary event, you will be learning from entrepreneurs, and afterwards, you will be able to network with our staff and resident mentors who can help coach you in starting your business.

Shaun Sanders is an attorney, artist, startup founder, marketing and branding strategist, business development consultant. Since 1999, Shaun has successfully developed and launched campaigns reaching over 500 million people around the world through social media, print, viral videos, animations, infographics, and television. While in law school, Shaun worked closely with his university’s startup incubator and has invested his time in working with local entrepreneurs to overcome the various industry-specific barriers their companies face. Beginning in December of 2014, Shaun helped build out the Innovation Institute at the University of California, Irvine, as its Collaboration Advocate. There, Shaun focused on developing relationships between startups, innovators, investment groups, and the wealth of other resources available in Southern California. Additionally, Shaun works with the largest angel investment organization in the United States, Tech Coast Angels, previously managing the collaboration and syndication of deals with several other major angel investment groups across the country.

In 2016, Shaun joined the investment arm of HOTB Software Solutions. In addition to his in-house counsel duties, Shaun seeks out and identifies viable new investments for the company, negotiates deal terms, and works one-on-one with entrepreneurs to solve their business development, technology, and scaling issues.

We hope to see you there!
