Mihaylo College’s culture is rich, diverse, and reflective of how the world will look in the future. The large supportive network of alumni, faculty, and community add to our diversity. A prime advantage of being part of Mihaylo is being connected to such a large and active environment full of opportunities.
Your role in this environment is to be an active part of the community. The significance of your involvement is an important factor in your professional development.
To better assist you, we have developed this campaign of the “Flavors of Mihaylo” to highlight many of the important and unique opportunities for involvement. As you get involved and connected in this one-of-kind program, you shape the Mihaylo business learning laboratory–and will discover a Titan pride you’ll carry with you for life.
What are the Flavors of Mihaylo?
This campaign was developed from your input. Mihaylo College surveyed graduate business students during the summer 2010. We listened to you and found that Mihaylo students are looking to become more engaged with business professionals, faculty and peers within the program. You also indicated that while many of these elements are already happening, you might not always know about them.
Your responses prompted us to create “The Flavors of Mihaylo” which is an informational campaign designed to inform and highlight many of the activities. This campaign will allow you to pick and choose the “flavors” that fit best with your professional and personal development.
It also includes many new opportunities, events, and happenings as part of this campaign, including an event called “The Taste of Mihaylo” which culminates the “Flavors of Mihaylo” campaign. Look for the “Taste” in Fall semester as you are invigorated by all the opportunities happening now and in the spring and summer.
How do I get connected and involved?
It is simple to “Get Connected and Get Involved”. The first edition of the Flavors of Mihaylo eNewsletter is already online (http://bizblogs.fullerton.edu/mba/). The eNewsletter will also be sent out twice a semester to all currently registered students through their CSUF email address.
The Mihaylo Flavors eNewsletter will include upcoming events, guest speakers, conferences, and ways to connect with faculty. The MCBE Graduate Programs website will also regularly feature news, events, and important information. You can find that here http://business.fullerton.edu/graduateprograms/advising/ and we invite you to check it regularly.
Please take a moment to read the Mihaylo Flavors eNewsletter to help you with your professional and personal development and find ways of getting connected and involved.
