Mihaylo College’s Executive Council will host a breakfast meeting on Friday, January 25th, featuring a panel discussion regarding the future of health care reform. The Affordable Care Act creates a new framework for health insurance availability and health care delivery that affects all stakeholders, including providers, insurers, individuals, and employers.
The event will give attendees the opportunity to listen to some of Southern California’s leading health care professionals’ insight about the Affordable Care Act.
The panel of speakers will include Dwayne Logan, MD, CEO and Medical Director of Atlantis Eyecare, Keith Wilson, MD, Regional Medical Director of Talbert Medical Group, Steven Scott, Vice President and General Manager of Large Group Anthem Blue Cross, and Marilyn Monahan, owner of Monahan Law Office.
The president of Nixon Benefits, Karen Nixon, will moderate the event and ask the panel of health care professionals’ questions about the trend in the cost of health care over the past decade, as well as how the reform will affect insurers’ pricing, plans, and services.
The breakfast meeting will be held at the Radisson Hotel in Newport Beach on January 25th, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
The event is open to anyone; tickets are $25 for Executive Council members, $35 per non-member, and $245 for a table of eight.
