CSUF Mihaylo made the rankings again in U.S News & World Report. In their January rankings, Mihaylo’s online MS in Information Technology was ranked No. 12 in “student engagement and accreditation” and No. 14 in “admissions selectivity” under “Top Online Graduate Business Programs.”
According to Matt Carver, 33, an IT manager at Los Angeles Air Force Base, it makes sense.
“The program is set up very well,” said Carver, who graduated in 2010. “They covered all the bases of IT. They didn’t center on programming or networking or hardware only. You get to learn a little bit about each pocket of IT, and I thought that was fantastic.”
Gregory Cazian, 35, is a parent and has a full-time job but he wanted to go back to school. So he enrolled in MSIT.
“What I really like about the program is that it is an online program,” said Cazian, a Middleware Administrator at FIS Global who plans to graduate in 2013. “This allows people like me who are working professionals to basically maintain their career and also take part in a graduate program. The teachers have been excellent, very helpful.”
MSIT Director Pramod Pandya gives special thanks to the faculty of the MSIT program who have helped make this recognition possible.
